The purpose of CID is to unite practitioners engaged in the commercial sectors of the real estate profession, to give an equal voice to all members, to provide a facility for education, research and the exchange of information for those engaged in the real estate industry, to promote and maintain high standards of practice and ethical conduct among commercial practitioners, to preserve the rights of property ownership in the interest of the public welfare, to inform the public of the advantages of transacting business with REALTORS®, and to encourage the promotion of the REALTORS® professional image.
